GE-747 Cowling Desk
Double size your reception area with the high flying GE-747 Cowling Desk by MotoArt. This stunning piece was custom built for the new GE Advanced Research & Technology Center in Qatar. The GE-747 Cowling Desk uses the CF6-50 engine that was first used for KLM’s 747 aircraft in 1975, with GE’s high-bypass turbofan engines that rated at 54,000 pounds of thrust. MotoArt split the engine cowling into equal halves, doubling them up into an impressive 19’ long reception area. Constructed with bamboo plywood desktops, polished aluminum caps and a incredibly high-sheen mirror polished engine cowling as the exterior.
