GE Commissions Motoart to Design and Build a Reception Desk for New Qatar Facility

Double size your reception area with the high flying GE-747 Cowling Desk by MotoArt.  This stunning piece was custom built for the new GE Advanced Research & Technology Center in Qatar.  The GE-747 Cowling Desk uses the nacelle off the CF6-50 engine that was first used for KLM’s 747 aircraft in 1975, with GE’s high-bypass turbofan engines.  MotoArt split the engine cowling into equal halves, doubling them up into an impressive 19’ long reception desk.  Constructed with bamboo desktops, polished aluminum caps and a incredibly high-sheen mirror polished engine cowling as the exterior.
