MotoArt Sets The Stage for the 6th Annual 'Living Legends of Aviation'

The promoters of Living Legends event wanted a high-impact presentation. So, for the second year in a row, they commissioned MotoArt to create the stage, Hospitality and media center installations.
MotoArt created this year’s stage from a 15 ft section of Boeing fuselage and a KC-97 engine cowling was transformed into an emblematic podium. To further dazzle the guests, the periphery of stage was draped with 10 x 15 ft. banners of vintage, USO pinups.
MotoArt’s Jet-spinner and Burner can coffee tables; along with Business class seats were integrated into the Hospitality areas. The Media Center revolved around the iconic, DC-9 Wing desks.
The "Living Legends of Aviation" was produced by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy. The 6th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton. Beverly Hills, CA. on January 22nd
It’s an annual event to honor individuals whom have made significant contributions in aviation. Honorees include celebrity pilots, record breakers, astronauts, innovators, entrepreneurs and celebrities who earn their wings by promoting the field of Aviation.
Harrison Ford received the Legends Aviation Legacy Award for his dedicating himself to introducing thousands of children to the world of aviation. Ford has been the chairman of the Young Eagles program of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) since 2004. Ford has taken to the skies with almost 300 kids in his own aircraft.
For his passion, and thirst for discovery, Sir Richard Branson was awarded the Lifetime Aviation Entrepreneur Award. Additional awards presented by the Legends throughout the evening included a special "Flown West", narrated by Morgan Freeman. This was a heart-felt tribute to the late pilot, producer, and director Sydney Pollack and test pilot Johnny Myers.
Freedom of Flight Award went to Emily Howell-Warner, the first female commercial pilot. Legends Top Flyer Award went to USAF F-22 Raptor pilot Paul "Max" Moga and President of the National Business Aviation Association, Ed Bolen received the Aviation Industry Leader of the Year Award. Si Robin received the Legends Aviation Inventor Award and Linden Blue landed the Aviation Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

A highly collectible, one of a kind, Corsair propeller sculpture was signed by 25 Living Legends is now available.
