C-130 Wing Flap V-Shaped Conference Table

The Lockheed V Shaped C130 Conference Table
 A Veritable, Tour De Force

Emanating from an acute, 17-degree angle, this V-shaped conference table provides the perfect vantage point from which to launch your next meeting. MotoArt’s latest tribute to  aviation history is also their largest fabricated piece to date.
It was fabricated from two, 24 foot-long full-length outer wing flaps of the C130 Hercules. After nearly 500 man-hours of painstaking attention to detail went into it, this one-of-a-kind prototype, C130A Conference Table made a triumphant return to base as it was delivered to Lockheed Martin Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia.

High-Flying Features:

The mirror-polished flaps, which comprise a total of 48 gleaming feet of surface area, are supported by ten, customized aluminum, dual I-beam legs. The mirror polished finish is capped with 1-1/2" plexi-glass.  The plexi-glass stand-offs, which support the 1/2" tempered glass top, do so without detracting from this exquisitely detailed piece.

• Seating for up to 24 people
• Half-inch tempered glass
• Dual aluminum I beam legs, with machined hole detail
• Integrated computer access port

C-130 History:
With more than 55 years of proud service under its wing, the Hercules aircraft line has the longest continuous production run of any military aircraft in history.
Originally designed as a cargo transport and medical evacuation aircraft for U.S. troops, the Lockheed C-130 was built at the request of the US Air Force and originally named the C-130 Hercules.  On August 23, 1954, it took off on its inaugural flight and went from Burbank, California to Edwards Air Force Base.
The C-130 was converted into over 40 different versions including the AC-130 gunship, AKA...Fat Albert. Fat Albert is still flexes its muscles as the support aircraft for the Blue Angels.
